I have a hp laptop(Windows 10) with one combo jack.But when I insert line in cable into the port it can not detect it.I tried to enable the popup "which device did you plug in" by going realtek HD audio manager.But do not find the option.How the laptop detect the line in jack?Please help me.

Do I need speakers to get any audio, or is there some setting I'm missing. Can't get audio. (It said online that there are integrated speakers in the monitor.) Dumb question, I know, but I don't know the answer to it.

Realtek 1903 Update Issue
After updating Win10 to build 1903, plugged in head phone and speaker work at the same time. It is meaningless if I intend to not bother other people around by using a head phone but there is still sound coming from speaker.
I tried to reinstall and update the drivers but it did nothing.

Mic not working while plugged into the Headphone jack
I have pairs of Mi Earphones Basic, whenever i plug them in i can hear the audio coming through and Windows also detects that there is a mic plugged in(as it should) but it doesnt seem to detect any audio when i talk. This only happens to the 3.5mm audio jack, i used an external USB Sound Card it also detects the mic on my earphone and it does pick up my voice. Is there anything i can do to fix this?

Audio Driver isn't working although it's installed! (Crackling sound) PLEASE HELP!
Hello first off, Sorry for my horrible english.
I will try to explain my issue in the most possible way and how it started
-First, while I was surfing the internet normally, I noticed a red mark on the sound in the taskbar I tried to run troubleshooting sometimes it says restart, troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem, the driver is already installed and etc.. (and the red mark exists)
-I tried to download the latest sound driver from the hp support website and run it on my PC but nothing happend, I tried to uninstall the current driver and Install the downloaded driver nothing happend and problem presents..
-I re-installed the windows and bom the sound cameback but whenever I try to install the graphic card driver Intel or Nvidia the problem returns, I tried to remove the Nvidia graphic driver and the Intel too but nothing happend.
-I thought the problem is from the hard itself so I formatted it and re-installed the windows the problem persists.. the sound works only when the graphic is not installed, the moment graphic card driver gets installed the sound is gone forever
-I went to PCklink to fix the issue and he managed to get the sound back on my notebook and worked alright.
-I returned home and tried to run a video and heared some popping/crackling sounds coming out of the laptop speakers I connected the headphone and the sound worked but a little bit calm
-I checked the sound driver to look what's wrong and found the driver called realtek driver not High definition driver, so does a different sound driver causes that's popping/crackling??

Hello! I am having problems with my audio from last night, after i had a bluscreen on my laptop. The audio icon appears with a red x and says that i dont have a driver installed. I tried and uninstalled/reinatalles every audio driver possible and still not working. What to do?

Sound is not reaching my headphones even though computer thinks it is
My computer knows when I plug my headphones in, but the sound won't play through them. It doesn't continue through the speakers, and video and music essentially keeps playing with no audio. The headphones are perfectly functional. Any help is appreciated.

Start wars bang and Olufsen equalizer
I've searched everywhere and can't find the answer.
The B&O equalizer changed and I have not figured out the fix. I've updated drivers using the support site, I've reviewed several posts that were similar, but nothing about this on this laptop.
Also, when it was working, whatever settings I made changes to, they would save to custom and overwrite the previous custom settings.
Any assistance would be great!
