HP mini 110-4100ca No sound or USB

well ive been having this problem for a year and decided to see if this is fixable or not my laptop doesnt have sound at all via speakers or headsets and i cant connect any external devices to it whenever i connect a phone, ipod etc. i get a pop up message saying unknown USB device :/ can someone tell me if this is hardware problem or a proble that can be fixed by myself ive tryed troubleshooting, uninstalling drivers and restarting PC, updating but it says there all updated ill leave some screen shots of all the errors below:
