Audio video desync when watching online videos

I bought this laptop only about 2 weeks ago. When watching videos online (such as YouTube and other video streaming services), the audio and video become desycned. This does not happen at the start of the video, but gets noticeable around 10 minutes into watching the video, and gets progressively worse afterwards. Sometimes, I also get audio popping when I play a video. My internet connection is fine - the videos do not have buffering issues, and the video quality is ok.

 

I have tried the following solutions, but none have worked:

1. Updated the drivers using HP support assistant

2. Uninstalled and reinstalled audio, graphics and sound drivers

3. Disabled hardware acceleration on my browser

4. Reset the OS

 

Please kindly help me to resolve this issue, thank you.

Audio issues - the audio peripheral doesn't appear to be plugged in. Check the connection.

Audio doesn't work - when troubleshooting it says: "the audio peripheral doesn't appear to be plugged in. Check the connection." Have tried uninstalling and installing the audio drivers already. Windows is at latest update.

Input sound on conference calls

Hi,

I am hoping someone can help. When I am on a conference call I have to speak directly into the mic, if I even turn my head slightly no one can hear me. I was told I should be able to change to conference setting on the sound input but haven't been able to find this anywhere. Can anyone help please?

I am currently using Windows 10 IDT Audio Driver
6.10.6492.0 Rev.A
 

I noticed the audio levels of my notebook slightly reduced when compared to the previous versions of Windows 10.

 

Sp71886.exe audio was working well with version 1903, but after updating to version 1909, I noticed the sound level to be slightly low. Is there an update to sp71886 which can hear the audio better in version 1909?

 

The last post which I've made was about a year ago which I got help from @Paul_Tikkanen,

B&O Audio App missing Equaliser

Hello,

 

I have seen many posts relating to the loss of B&O Audio App on HP B&O Laptops following a Win10 update.  Unfortunately many of the posts are for different laptop models and like me users have tried different downloads to no avail.  I've deleted the Realtek Audio drivers and resinstalled but not getting the desired outcome.  Whilst I'm getting the audio utility, showing B&O icon on the bottom right hand corner, I'm only getting volume control, input/output but no equaliser of improved sound experience.

 

The last download for Realtek drivers is the file from December 2019 which is excess of 400+ MB.  it is quite frustrating that the audio utility has disappeared and sound on the laptop is quite flat.  Can someone help please?  I've now wasted many hours on this and I'm not sure what else I can try.  Many thanks.

Using zoom on HP chromebook 14

I have recently bought an HP chromebook 14. When I try to use Zoom I generally (not always) encounter audio/microphone issues - I can hear and see other participants, but they cannot hear me (but they can see me). This normally happens when there are more than one other participants.

 

I would like to know if this is a known compatibility issue with Zoom, or whether there may be a "fix" for this and would be grateful for any advice - thanks.

Strange noise seems like a rattling noise coming from my hp pavilion 15 ec speakers

I hear a strange noise from my speakers its hard to be noticed but when I make the sound 100% it becomes noticeable, the speakers works well but at certain points of the sound track this strange noise comes , I faced this problem from the first day buying the laptop.

HP Pavilion x360: problem on audio / video devices

Hello everyone
I would like to ask your help for a problem on audio / video devices to the following PC:
(Sorry for my bad english)

HP Pavilion x360 - 13-a105nl (ENERGY STAR)

I use Win8.1 64bit operating system

If I make a system restore to factory data, everything works, including Audio and Webcam peripherals. The restore I have done it several times and, in the initial stages everything is always Ok.
After a few updates, the PC no longer recognizes  the Audio and Video device. Not even by restoring the original drivers or installing the Realteck drivers from the site can I not recognize the peripherals.

As an error it returns me:

The hardware device could not be started ...... (Code 19)

 

Someone has already had similar problems?

Microphone issue - Heavy feedback during video conference calls

When I have conference calls (using Zoom), there is heavy feedback from my microphone. I have run diagnostics on the microphone both on Zoom software and my laptop... However, the laptop says everything is fine with the microphone and zoom still gives heavy feedback. Even when I use headphones, it does not seem to help the situation... Any advice? 

 

Currently I am forced to call in separately to meetings using my phone.

Audio out jack on HP Advanced Docking Station not recognized

Hi. I've googled this issue but didn't find a solution. The sound of my notebook works fine if I use the built in speakers or the built in audio jack. Even if the notebook is connected to the docking station the sound comes out of the internal speakers or through the built in audio jack.

 

Now I have some external speakers. I connected them to the audio jack of the docking station but there is no sound. I found out that Windows does not recognize any other audio outputs then the built in speaker/headphones.

 

I uninstalled the Realtek driver reinstalled it, used an older version....But nothing helps. No additional audio output appears and no sound on the external speakers.

 

Would be great if someone has a solution for this.

Crackling sound on laptop

Hello, i have a HP Pavilion 14 with windows 10. Intel i7-4510U, 4GB RAM, NVIDIA 840M. I dont know how and why but my pc is so laggy and start to make a crackling sound like a sound of a bee in a mili second i guess but repeteadly when i stream a video or open a game. At first i thought it was the speaker but when i connected a bluetooth audio it also gave same output. It happened too with my headphone.

So i guess its not my speaker. What is happening then? Its so annoying me. Please kindly help me, im so desperate. Thankyou

 

Ps, ive already done hardware diagnostics and nothing found

Built-in microphone nor Jabra usb-c microphone working

The internal microphone dosen't work.

Also the Jabra external USB-C microphone doesn't work.

 

But if I stick an external microphone via Jack3.5mm works.

 

I already done all the check HP say but with no result.

Bang & Olufsen options missing on HP Audio Control (1909)

Hi,

 

After a clean install of Windows 1909 the Bang & Olufsen options are missing on HP Audio Control app. I can't reinstall the audio driver since the last version available from the download page is for windows 10 (1903) and it will give an error message.Captura de Ecrã (1).png

Audio not working on Hp spectre-360 Bang and Olusen

Audio does not work.  I tried to troubleshoot it and it shows the message 
"The computer cannot play audio because Windows Audio Service is not enabled"

I then clicked on the option to enable the audio service and updated the drivers 

Got the message that the best drivers are installed ..

 

After this did troubleshooting again and got the same message 

"The computer cannot play audio because Windows Audio Service is not enabled"

Tries this several times but the problem just would not get resolved

Buzzing Noise from HP Envy

Hi all,

I got a new HP Envy and ever since I got it, its been making a buzzing noise from the speakers. it only happens when its doing an operation or when the touchscreen is used.

it sounds like an old mechanical hard drive but its got an SSD in it, no moving parts. 

any suggestions?

speakers are muted.

hi all

having issue with audio on hp 6730s running win10..   can hear good audio on headphones connected tu usb port  , however can't hear anything from speakers or headphones connected to audio socket . did anyone come across such issue?
