after updating to windows 10 2 dyas functioning normally after 2 dyas audio output issue coming
while palying any audio & vedio sound coming from speakers
inseart the head phones output not coming
i have update the latessound drivers & bios also then same issue came
previously in windows 8.1 both options working fine
how to resolv this issue without formatting os and downgrade to 8.1
please help me..

I'm a dj and use a laptop on stage , i purchased an elitebook for my gigs
the last gig i just played at there was an audio problem , every minute or so my sound would cut out for about 3 seconds?
my guess after doing a little research is that the hp 3d driveguard was kicking in due to to much vibration on stage
i have disabled this now but do you think this could be the problem? I'm going to purchase an ssd soon but would be cool to have an idea on what the real issue was ..
also would like to mention my problem on stage was solved when i put the laptop ontop of an anti vibration device which dj turntables use, so im 99% certain it was due to too much vibration?

I got something stuck inside my headphone and when i showed to local repairer he said it cantbe removed instead the jack itself should be changed. when where could i get the parts or gegt it repaired

When I click on the Beats symbol to open the audio control panel, it does not open? What happen? it was working two days ago.

I have an HP ENVY 17 Notebook PC (product number: E1P13AV) with Beats audio that has been updated from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, and my primary issue is that the max volume on my laptop is woefully inadequate. I can't say for sure when this volume issue started, but I don't believe it was this way when I bought it, nor when I first upgraded to Windows 10.
I have a smaller, "non-Beats" Elitebook that puts out more sound at just 50% volume than this machine does at 100%, and my Samsung GS5 appears to put out just as much sound (and better base) than this laptop currently does.
I have seen a variety of message board posts related to the messing around with the Speakers Properties and toggling the Bass Boost, Virtual Sound, and/or Loudness Equalization, but none of these options appear to have any measurable effect.
When searching the computer for "Beats," there are no results, and I can't see any reference to it in the Control Panel. Is it possible that Beats has gotten disabled or that the volume is being throttled somewhere else in the system? The situation as it stands is unsat, and I am very interested in getting it corrected. Thanks in advance for any help that you can offer.
Hi, i just recently got my convertible laptop. I have found ou that the audio doesn't work due to there being no audio output device installed, and after researching, I found out that there was a problem with the the Intel SST Audio Device. The device status stated:
"The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There are no compatible drivers for this device.
To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver."
I tried updating the driver but the computer could not find any drivers for the device.
Can anybody fix this for me please?

I get a low electric buzzing from Right side corner (on the touch pad side) of my laptop. Its 1 year now since I got it. It is still in warranty. Everything is working just fine, except for the buzzing. The noise is audible only from near. How can I fix it ?

Hi, I hope one of you can help me with the following problem:
I use external speakers with a male jack. My (Toshiba) dynadock (specification attached) has got an SPDIF output. So I bought an SPDIF cable and a connector for a male jack. I plugged it in but no sound. In my sound settings can I see the SPDIF option but I can not choose it. I think I need to install an (extra) driver, but which one? Will someone help me with this?

I instaled Windows 7 ultimate 64bite on my laptop and instaled all driver only i cant instal for sound and cant find it. I have problem with Multimedia Audio Contorller i try it to update Automatic but it doesnt work. please help me guys.

When using Skype the person that I am calling has great difficulty hearing me. The Microphone keeps cutting in and out. I can hear them no problem. This only happens during a call. When not in a call, I can talk and the Mic seems to be ok. It worked fine before upgrading to Win10. Thanks for your help.
I was using an external mic with a mic jack (not usb plug) with my HP desktop (windows 10) and it worked fine, but it's not working with my Envy laptop (also windows 10). I have a single earphone/microphone jack on the side of my laptop. what external mics would work?
when I first go my HP Pavillian quad Core, the IDT High definition audio Codex microphone worked,
Then I decided to try the Voice Commands... and after trying it for a while, turned off the Voice Recognition
Ever since then, my internal Microphone does not "connect" Nor does the external mic I tried.
The Device manager says everything is installed and working and up to date, but I never get green bars, when I do a test recording the c"omputer doesn't hear anything" .
I was hoping when I went to Windows 10, that something miraculously would be updated, and it would work. Nope.
Have been through reams of documentation. All the HP Walk through support. Tried de-installing, and reinstalling the drivers.
I can hear music, I can hear PC sounds...
The disapeared sound functionality is influenced by the configuration setting for RAM memory
how to resolve the problem no sound after upgrade ?
Go to Start
type Msconfig
open tab advanced
set RAM memory to Maximum (tick box)
close and restart
now sound will be working again
took me lot of reading to find the solution. HP should mention this !
just purchased some 2nd hand elitebook 2540p's but the headphone jack doesnt seem to register the headset. how do we check if its a hardware or software problem? Any suggestions on how to fix the problem?
