how do i fix the audio sorce not running? I tried right clicking start and using comand prompt admin and an error message shows up. Audio doesn't work with headphones plugged in either.

After updating to windows 10 my audio from my speaks are low and distorted. Right speaker sound is much lower than the left speaker and sounds almost like an echo. Also audio is fine when headphones are plugged in. I've tried updating my drivers and turning off the windows media player feature. Please help !

Hi,

I installed win 10 on my laptop and are using a dp to hdmi adapter I got picture but no sound.

I have tried to update the driver for both audio and video, but still the outport for the sound does not appear in the playback devices list...

I don't know if this helps, but when I go to the Nividea Control Panel -> Monitor -> Attune digital sound. There I can choose in the corresponding the dropdown menu to send the audio to my monitor, but when I restart the control panel it has reset to "Turn of sound". (I have translatet my Swedish menu, so the words might not match with the real menu words.)
I also have the same problem on my Elitebook 8560p laptop.

I hope you can help me with this matter, br Ollpej

After turning the device on, static begins playing over the speakers. The only app on so far is internet explorer, and the static is still playing. i am not trying to stream anyrhing, and i am not running any audio programs.

I uninstalled the audio from the device manager, the rebooted. Nothing happend.

I came to the HP site and updated the driver, again nothing happend.

Am I missing something?

Hello,

I have a question about an issue with the sound on my notebook.

For such a long time, after upgrading my pc to Windows 10 Pro, I've got an annoying issue on the audio part. Everything seems to work fine on my pc, all drivers are up to date and correctly installed. When I listen to music, for example on WMP or web browser, I can hear many times a little frezee in sound when I'm doing something else like surfing on the web or open another programs. I just can't imagine what is the cause of these constant interruptions.

When I try to record or talk to somebody on skype they can hear everything like sound from the video I'm watching or music I'm listening to. It's not my headset because I tried with 2 different ones, it's not the What U Hear option either,my stereo mix is disabled.

If you guys have any idea how to fix this plz let me know because this has been driving me crazy for the past month or so

My speakers stopped working after I installed Windows 10

After I installed Windows 10, the forward facing speakers on my laptop just stopped working. I have the model with Beats Audio and I noticed that Beats Audio was uninstalled as well. I did a clean install when installing Windows 10. The two speakers on the bottom of the laptop still work, but I can't get the main speakers to work at all. Please help!

Hi, I need your help. I've got a ZBook 15 G2 which has, according to documentation, a combined headphone/mic port. Well, I took a microphone and plugged it into the port, but the computer doesn't detect it. I have the driver installed all right, and I see the device in the control panel (sound settings). But it never becomes enabled, even after I plug in the mic. Help!

Hi guys, i bought this laptop at the end of 2012, Windows 7 Home Premium out of the box. Yesterday, i upgraded my laptop to Windows 10 64-bit, everything seems to be okay except the audio suunds awful with Dolby Advanced Audio v2 ENABLED, if i disable it, it works fine but i need the Dolby. Any Solutions??

I am writing to you because my left speaker is not working. This notebook was brought from QRS, Karamana, Trivandrum,Kerala two weeks ago. From that time onwards the speaker was not working. When i tested the sound no sound was comming from the left speaker. DO REPLY ASAP. Where should i take it for correcting this problem. I hope you will reply for this ASAP.

Hi ...i do not have the audio quality expected of beatsaudio and need to update it

...here is a screen shot of the version i am currently using-> that didn't work... so here it is copied...version 6.10.6381.0 2012.12.10

...i am using windows 7 and am unsure if it is 32 or 64 bits, i expect to upload windows 10 next month (november)

...i usually use firefox with very infrequent use of IE

...i would like help updating to the most current beats audio software
