Hello, i noticed for some time a cracking sound while playing an audio or video file from my Laptop. It also happens while listening to radio or audio/video from any web page. This cracking sound repeats itself on every 54 seconds of play. It's either louder or lower depending on the volume control.
At first i did "troubleshooting" but there was neither report nor change.
Secondly , i "searched for updates", but the driver is found to be up-to-date.
Thirdly, i "disabled all enhancement" but never stopped.
Fourthly, i "uninstalled the sound driver", shut down the system and removed the battery. All precautions according to the community support were observed. I turned it on and the windows reinstalled the Driver, but the cracking sound hasn't stopped. I updated the reinsttalled Driver but its still the same. Please what should i do?
It's a hp mini 110-1100,
Device: IDT High Definition Audio CODEC
Status: Enabled
Driver: stwrt.sys
Version: 6.10.6217.0
windows 7 starter, and 32-bit Operating system.
Initially, i tried to get answers from microsoft support forum but instead i was told to Install software driver from the device manufacturer. Please how do i do this?
thank you, rapha.
