External mixer has its own soundcard and software which takes files from windows media and ITunes , all music plays ok for 50 minutes and then distortion. Only way to get rid of distortion is to reboot.
I have turned Wi-Fi and antivirus off, and altered buffers and latency along with downloading seperate ASIO file. Watched cpu usage in task manager, very little apps usage, until about 45 minutes and then in system section shows 100 per cent usage. Shut down laptop and reboot and ok for another 50 minutes, laptop new in June 14. Do I have a hardware issue?
