Basically about a month ago I installed Windows 8.1, for quite a few days it was working fine, then my sound just stopped working! I found out that a new device callled 'Realtek Digital Output', this has taken over my speakers and now my speakers say 'Not plugged in'. I then did a system restore, the sound worked till I turned it off and on again. I then tried completly starting over again with my laptop, same thing happened as above. Finally I found out that their was this update i would need to download for my speakers that are the inbuilt ones, it then worked untill i turned it off again. I have tried everything from your forums and nothing has helped resolve this problem. Yesterday I reinstalled Windows 8.1 to see if it made a difference but its still not working. Here are my product details and i have print screened to show what the speakers that i dont want, because they dont work. Could someone please tell me how I can permantly get my speakers back so they have sound?!
