My product is the
HP Pavilion dv6-6090ee Entertainment Notebook
The laptop is running a 64bit Windows 7 Home Premium with an i7 processor and an 8 GB RAM.
My hard disk had crashed and I replaced it, after doing so I re-installed all my drivers. Although the audio driver (IDT Audio) hasn't been functioning properly.
I have re-installed it from the HP website and got the driver that is displayed there. Even then, there is no sound from the laptop.
There is an error message that gets displayed everytime I install it. The installation process asks me to restart my laptop, but after restarting it, the error message is displayed and I'm back to no sound.
I have checked a lot of answers posted on this problem but none of them help.
If there is anything I can do to get it back, your help would be appreciated.
