Hi, - first of all i'm not great with technical stuff so ive tried my best..
my laptops about 4 years old and getting slow, i always delete internet files, tuneup on norton, defragment , etc etc but the one big thing that seemed to be slowing it down was hp advisor causing it to crash every time i turned it on until it was closed. so i uninstalled it and accidently uninstalled IDT audio 1.0.6225.0 and Cyberlink Power2go which crashed during uninstall.. i tried to load up youtube/music and the sound was not working so i immediately tried a system restore which didn't work. I have tried several system restores since none have worked, at various points on the list and i have tried these in safe mode and i have disabled norton tampering whilst doing so.
I am probably going to have to back up my files and wipe my computer however i was wondering if in the mean time i can just re-install the audio driver however i don't understand how i reinstall it and what version etc and where i find it as its not making any sense to me. i'm losing the will to live over it and feel ive tried everything so please help, many thanks in advance :))))
