I lost sound on my HP Envy after microsoft Win 11 Update to 24H2 build 26100.3476
By following previously written instructions I was able to delete the RealTek driver 6.0.9468.1 and install driver 10.0.26100.1
The audio then worked until I rebooted. After the reboot, Windows replaced the newer driver with the older one, 6.0.9468.a and the audio stopped working again.
If I do a driver update, I am told the 6.0.9468 driver is the best one. (even though it does not work with the window update)
