I bought my HP pavilion DV6 off a friend hes always had external speakers plugged into it therefore he has never known whether there was a sound issue or not. On the bottom right hand-side off the windows tray the sound shows that there is noise playing but I'm not receiving any sound from the actual Speakers.
I currently use headphones as they are the only things that work, I've checked all the common Windows sound settings and Re-installed the sound card driver but nothing has made a difference therefore it is really starting to bug me now and need it fixed as soon as possible.
