I have a HP ENVY m6-1178sa beatsaudio that has lost its internal microphone. I’m sure when I went into control panel/Sound, then in the second tab, Recording there was three items, External mic, Sound mix & internal mike. I now only have the first two. before it disappeared it use to oscillate unless I turned the sound down. (the high pitch sound used to drive the youngsters mad) I got a feeling someone has tried to turn it down/off and disabled it. It does not show in Device manager. I have tried Scan for “hardware Changes” and updated drivers without any luck
