I've been experiencing severe audio breakup when downloading. It's most noticable when I'm loading new webpages. The audio slows down, cuts out, and suffers a very 'digital' sounding type of breakup.
It seems to have gotten worse over time. It started out with a few pops and clicks here and there while playing back any type of audio, but now it's gotten to the point where I have to choose between web browsing and listening to music. I can't do both. It affects playback from any source - streaming video, iTunes, VLC.
I've updated BIOS and the audio driver multiple times, and I've tried disabling 3D Driveguard, as it seems to have helped other people on this forum with similar problems. All without success. I'm happy to try anything again, any suggestions offered are appreciated!
