speakers are not working

Hi techies. . I am using hp 1201txt g4 laptop. It's been two years since I bought it. Now the right speaker is not working and it is getting heated like water in 90 degrees. I showed it to an authorized hp dealer. They want me to pay1600 Rs for thermal ic and 1500 for speakers . .Is this the right price . .I am not a jargon in tech world. Please pour in Ur comments.
