He y guys, my name is Joe, and about a year ago i purchased an HP Dv7-7010us entertainment edition laptop. I've had issues in the past with my Beats Audio drivers and they would usually be resolved by reinstalling the newest driver. Anyways one of my classic issues reappeared. Basically whenever I would adjust the volume of ANY application the voulme would rapidly return to 100% but the volume slider would stay at let's say 20%. So I figured a quick re-install of my IDT audio driver would fix the issue. How sadly I was mistaken. When I went to the HP website and found my product in the Drivers and Support section of the website, I located the correct audio driver that needed to be updated (sp56429.exe). Unfortunately the driver will not download, from ANY website. I've tried over 40 different directories and websites to download this driver from. I won't touch torrenting with a 10 foot pole because I could get kicked off campus.
Since I couldn't fix the issue that way I decided i would try to use the onboard HP installer, well that didn't work because it installed a version of the driver that makes it so the 'Beats Audio Control Panel' doesn't work. So I can't edit my EQ settings and sound in general on my computer is very, very crappy.
Is there any work around to try to get this dirver installed? or downloaded?
Thanks for any relavant response.
