Hopefully I've posted this in the right place, and someone will look at it and have an answer.
I've got a G62 notebook running windows 7 home premium. I'm trying to record using an external mic. The mic is working and everything is set up ok, but it will only work intermittently. I can literally record something, leave it for 5 minutes and when I go to do some more it won't record. I've tried through a downloaded program and the built in recording program. This has always happened and before I've just given up and left it, but I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to solve this.
I am not technologically minded so please keep that in mind if anyone answers! Thank you.
