What is up with all the HP issues that when headphones are plugged in the speakers will not cut out? I have the same issue with this brand new Pavilion 15t n200. The audio programs installed that came with the laptop are the Realtec High Definition Audio, and what loks to be standard, "High Definition Audio Device." Both have current drivers (I checked), but neither have an option for headphones or any selection to allow either headphones or speakers. This should be a no brainer deal. Plug headphones in, speakers shutoff, unplug headphones, speakers return. Why is it that it appears HP is having so many issues across laptop lines with this?
Please do not give me a long solution having me make a disc, restarts, or doing bios function changes. I have no time for all that mess. I barely have time to ask this on the forum, but I am at a loss. Any long process is just insane, and I've just about had it with HP and the nutroll I was put thru in just the purchase of this laptop, the LapLink PCmover software garbage HP sold me too. It screwed up my brand new laptop so badly, I had to have it professionally restored. Thank you...
