I bought this HP envy 17 3200 not the 3D version early last year. Product number A6U49AAR. I just posted this now but my audio has been basically gone since last year a few months after buying the laptop. It just stopped working so now I just use my bluetooth speakers to hear sounds.
I visited many forums regarding HP audio and tried to download drivers. But when I do, it always says it's not the driver for my computer or it can't detect my hardware.
By the way, it worked again 6 months after it stopped for like a week and then disappeared again so im sure there's nothing wrong with my speakers.
If anyone had the same problem and got to fix it. Please let me know how, I'm starting to get frustrated about always having to bring bluetooth speakers just so I can hear sounds.
