I have a HP Pavilion dv6t-2100 CTO running Windows 7 x 64.
I cannot get the audio to work with the webcam. I have checked the settings and they are set correctly with the software for it to record sound. I am using HP Mediasmart's software.
I had this issue not long after I bought the computer and I called HP tech support. They had me disable the audio driver and then let it reinstall by itself and that fixed it then but that won't fix it this time.
I also tried the webcam with Skype and it won't work. All other audio applications work fine.
Please help, I have a one year old granddaughter living a thousand miles away that I really need to connect with frequently with Skype!
