I think it's disgraceful that with the update to Win 8.1 the Beats Audio EQ is disabled. It's one of the main reasons I bought this system. And obviously this problem has been around for a while, and nobody's bothered to fix it.
I don't know who is at fault: Microsoft, HP, or Beats. Who do I call? How can we let someone know this is unacceptable and needs to be fixed?
Believe me I've tried everything: unistalling, reinstalling the latest drivers, etc., etc., etc. It's simply not supported anymore.
When you pull up the Beats control panel, the left-side sliders work but they don't tailor the sound enough. The sliders on the main graphic EQ do absolutely nothing now. Worked great in Win 8.
Pathetic.
