I have a HP Pavilion dv1000 Entertainment Notebook and it is not entertaining. I have downloaded the drivers and even hooked up an external cd drive and no sound. I took the unit apart but could not find any thing unplugged. I tried external speakers and nothing.
Is there a way to test the speakers? Should I just replace them?
