I have some trouble with audio system on my new HP Pavilion dv6-7173er. Sound volume fluctuates with no reason sometimes. First I thoght that it's a problem with speakers, but the same continues with headphones!!! So I decided to switch off the Beats audio in control panel - sound changed, but volume is still fluctuating :(
