I have tried every trick known to man, and no matter what headphones I plug in - they don't turn down the sound on the speakers. This work perfectly until a week or so ago (on windows 8)... I'n wondering if a windows update killed it, but after fighting three days with it (grumble - hp10025 was down for most of that) - I gave up and loaded windows 8.1 on it. Exactly the same problem now on 8.1. One of the things I noticed is that it no longer lists the "left front jack" in the sounds screens... How on earth do I get that back?
