Hi, HP forum readers and employers.
Ive got a problem.
Ive installed Windows 7, (previously had Windows Vista) and now i dont have sound. I get that red X and "No Audio Output Device is installed" thing.
Ive tried installing the Conexant Audio driver and i get an error "driver installation failed could not find the media device".
I suppose its because my pc doesnt support Windows 7. I ran it with compatibility mode but i get the same error when i try to install the driver. Ive tried installing the realtek driver with no luck. Did bios update, did windows update, installed driver scanning software. Please help guys.
