I own a HP G6-2210SA and finally gave up using Windows 8!
I have downgraded to windows 7 and everything is fine except there is no sound from speakers. However, the sound works fine on headphones.
I belive the speakers are fine because when wrong button is pressed when in BIOS the sound seems to be coming from both speakers.
I have tried unstailing the driver and let it windows reinstall it. No Luck. I have also tried hard reset by removeing battery etc. Still no sound.
Unfortunately my origianal HDD died and I'm unable to use recovery discs as my new hard drive is much smaller.
Please help...
