I'm using an HP Envy laptop and HP Pavilion 25bw external moniter connected via HDMI cable. Using Windows 8.1. When the laptop lid is closed the sound is turned off. If I open the lid I get sound for about 2 seconds then it goes off. If I remove the HDMI cable, the sound comes on. How can I get the sound to work with the 25bw connected and the lid closed?
