Hi guys, my name is Mariah. I recently purchased an HP 15 Notebook PC and I've loved everything about it from day one––that is, except the audio. To be completely honest with ya'll, the audio output on this computer is total bleep. I initially bought it to play the game Skyrim and I quickly discovered that while everything else, as far as graphics and such went, ran amazingly, the sound was awful. That being said, I use subtitles whenever I can and don't bother with the volume.
But ugh, I want to be able to play loud music to my heart's content, yanno? So here I am, searching for a solution.
I've done some research [albeit half-hearted] and I'm blaming the RealTek audio drivers. From what I've read, no one thinks they're much pumpkin. Some forty-two hours after I bought it, I thought that uninstalling everything with the name RealTek in it would be a brilliant idea and hopefully a fix.
I ended up uninstalling my LAN ._.
Thankfully my brother reinstalled it for me and needless to say, after that, I tried to resign myself to the **bleep**ty audio. But ngh, I want better!
Help?
