HP Envy 4-1015DX
Windows 7 64bit
Beats Audio
Upgraded from Windows 7 to 8. Windows 8 slowed the pc and internet to a crawl. After multiple attempts to fix the issue, I went through the painstaking process of going back to 7.
Once back to 7 and the drivers installed, the volume is low. Unable to really hear or understand any audio. The sp58045.exe IDT High Defenition Audio Driver will not install correctly.
It will pull a dialog box to Re-Install Using Correct Settings, which crashes and provides the blue screen. OR This Item Installed Correctly which does nothing but give KILLS the audio. I would then have to assign the windows audio drivers in the Device Manager to override the IDT driver to get the sound back. I've also went into the properties and Checked the Loudness Equilization.
Please help.
