Pavilion m6 Mic Jack?

My HP Pavilion m6-1035dx I have had for about 2 years now and I like to game a lot. With the lacking mic jack requiring a mic that has only 1 required port, I can't use a very high quality mic...I'd like to upgrade to a better headset that I can use, is there an adapter or some way I can have the output/input port into 2 seperate ones so I can upgrade to said mic?
