Hi,
So I havent used headphones in my computer for at least a few months but I went to plug them in today and no sound comes out of the headphones. I've tried with several pairs and none of them produce sound so its not them. When I plug them in it goes to "Communications Headphones" and when I click "test" sound comes out of the speakers rather then the headphones. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, I've tried making it the default sound device, I've tried restarting, I've tried the troubleshooter and nothing has worked so far.
I have a HP Pavillion dv6 Notebook PC with Windows 7 (64-bit OS) and the audio is the IDT High Definition Audio CODEC.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
