Hello everyone I have been having some trouble with my laptop every sense it took a tumble off of my dresser and onto the floor. No major damage was caused other than the hard drive needed to be replaced.
Everything on the computer works fine except the sound! Sometimes I get stuff to play (YouTube, ITunes, and Netflix etc.) and other times I am unable to hear anything even though the sound is turned on and the volume all the way up.
After trying to temper with this problem I find that refreshing my page sometimes works or waiting 30 minutes helps. I can’t find a specific issue causing the problem because I know the speakers work but it seems like they only do when they want to.
Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? I have tried to download the original drivers and still no luck.
For future reference it is a HP Pavilion dv6 model with beats audio.
Please help!!!! This problem has gotten so annoying that I am contemplating buying a new computer and I really don’t want to have to spend the money.
