I just installed a new keyboard on my G71-34OUS notebook. Now any time an audio event occurs (music, video with audio, YouTube, media players, ANY source that has audio- you get the picture) my speakers literally start pushing out a sound that is EXACTLY like a cowbell in perfect rhythym. Thunk Thunk Thunk Thunk Thunk Thunk.......... The audio with (whatever) will start to play and you can hear it for a second and then THUNK THUNK THUNK THUNK THUNK.... As soon as I shut down whatever source I using and nothing else is using any audio- the cowbell stops. When there is nothing using any audio, there is no cowbell. Even an audio notification that I have a new message brings back the cowbell. UGHH!!!
I have never once in the several years I have owned this computer had this issue. But tonight right after installing a new keyboard- THUNK THUNK THUNK THUNK....... What could possibly be causing this? Changing out a keyboard is a pretty straight forward job and I can't imagine what could have went wrong. Anyone have any clues???? Thanks!
