Pavilion dv6 audio not working correctly, just plays a choppy noise instead

Hello,

I have a Pavilion dv6-7115nr and have been dealing with an audio issue for a few months now. Sometimes while the laptop is charging or at an angle, the audio did not play correctly. Instead it plays kind of a choppy noise every second. When I have headphones or other speakers plugged into the laptop, no sound plays from them at all. The "test sound" shows that sound is supposed to be playing.  Recently the problem escalated and it does this even without the laptop being plugged in or at an angle.  

I have tried uninstalling & reinstalling drivers, it did not fix the problem.
