i have an hp envy m6, windows 8, 64 bit
the past week my audio has not been working properly (no sounds at all). i'd be able to fix it just by uninstalling and then reinstalling the idt hd audio driver, and then it work fine, but the next day when i turn on my laptop again the same problem happens. i decided to install the update for the audio driver, thinking maybe that would fix the problem. but it didn't. same thing keeps happening, whenever i start my laptop, no audio and i have to reinstall the drivers (i have to reinstall the original driver + the update now to get the audio working).
im trying to find a permanent solution to my problem. i really don't understand whats going on. i dont remember my laptop going through one of those automatic updates the past week, and i haven't downloaded any programs either. i'm able to do temporary fixes, but i want a permanent solution to this problem.
