Since recently (about 1week ago) there has been nothing but static (sounding like waves) being produced by the internal microphone on my laptop. This goes for skype, oovoo and making recordings using the sound recorder. please advise as to what might cause this and how to fix. All drivers are up to date, mic is turned on and working (recording sound) and volume level is good, its just that all i can hear or the person on the other side is hearing is static.
