Hi, when I connect my Hp envy 14 inch laptop to my sony tv via hdmi cable, the sound only comes out through the computer's speakers. I have tried going to control panel sound devices, but it does not detect the tv as a device. On other computers, the hdml cable works so there is nothing wrong with it. the tv is not faulty either as i tried hooking my laptop up to another tv. Do I need to download some audio drivers or something? I am hoping that I do not have to data reset my laptop, as that is very inconvenient.
