I own the HP Envy 17-j184 with the Windows 8, 64-bit OS.
I recently noticed that when I use my headphones, I can't adjust the audio on Youtube manually because of some auto adjusting audio. It is very annoying. I also could not adjust Minecraft in-game audio.
I believe the problem was caused by Beats audio. After messing around with settings, I finally decided to disable the beats audio driver and use the high definition audio driver. I can use my headphones and adjust the audio now, but when I use the built in speakers, the audio isn't as good since it isn't using the subwoofers and what not.
I was wondering if there is a way to disable the auto adjusting audio. I would like to enable the Beats audio since it sounds better on the built in speakers.
