Sound has quit working through the speakers, they work fine thru headphones, I was lead tech for ASUS so please dont give any generic answers, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling all sound drivers and programs, it will work in skype so I know the speakers work, all settings are at default and i have uninstalled skype as well as restored the system to before the sound quit working. Also because of the cpu overheating from the beggining a small peice of the case corner has come off and the screen has become loose. The fingerprint scanner no longer functions properly and and the only way to listen to sound is thru headphones or thru the hdmi port while connected to the TV, again yes all settings there have been checked.I understand there are bound to be certain problems with some computers but the amount of problems this one had from the start that have continued to pop up have made me wonder if the quality and customer satisfaction that used to matter still exist, I am not looking nor expecting any response or responsibility taken forthe poor craftmanship of this system but hope at least someone in your company cares enough to at least try and resolve the sound issues. I thank you in advance for any and all assistance but unfortunately will not be holding my breath waiting for it.
