For some reason, the audio on my laptop stutters uncontrollably when the AC adapter is plugged in, but never when running on battery. I have tried updating to the latest IDT drivers, and even uninstalling IDT Audio entirely, but the issue persists. The entire PC also seems to stutter a bit while the audio is stuttering. It makes gaming and listening to music or watching videos next to impossible while charging. Please help!
I am on an HP Pavilion dv6t-7000 with Windows 8.1 64-bit.
