Hello,
I upgraded from Windows XP (Original on my computer) to Windows 7 Proffesional a few weeks ago. Since then, I've been having problems with my computer's audio - it stops from working.
I downloaded Realtek Audio Driver in order to fix the problem but it doesn't work propperly: Music comes from my computer's speakers and but as soon as I put my computer to SLEEP or to HIBERNATE, sound starts failing. I've got to setup Realtek again and reboot my computer to get sound.
Frankly I despise having to reset my computer every now and then (my headsets won't work either, by the way)
I've got a HP Pavillion dv2125la. What's even weirder is that sound does come out from speakers when I touch the volume button from the Capacity Bar (the "ticking" noise) regardless of the fact that regular audio won't come out from the speakers, so I assume that speakers aren't the problem.
I've tried everything I could from the Device Manager screen, including uninstalling, disabling and checking for Driver Updates, but nothing works.
Please assist me on my quest!
