I'm running Windows 8.1 on a HP Envy 15J118SO with the latest IDT audio drivers (Beats). When I use heaphones I'd like the volume to be set low (about 2-4%) but when I use the built in speakers I want it high (about 70%). I've understood that many tablets have this option and I can't believe HP haven't thought about it for their new computers because it is such a neat feature and it saves ones hearing when plugging in headphones...
How do I do to enable a feature like this? Should I download some additional software?
I'm by the way also having great problems with the audio on the laptop with big volume fluctuations. Anyone that knows how to fix those problems as well?
