My notebook model is HP Pavillion dm4 3007-tx running on windows 8.1 Pro and windows 7 (Dual boots)
My problem is that Beats audio is not always turn on when running windows 8.1 pro(Although I turn it on)
but work perfectly on my windows 7
The sound driver is version 6.10.6418.0 on 24/7/2555 (Not the latest)
If I open a program that play a sound BEFORE plug in headphone jack , the sound will not be processed by Beats audio(I have to reopen program to make the Beats work again)
but if I plug the headphone jack first then open the same program , Beats will work
I try to update to the latest driver but what I get is that the panel is all grey (I can't even turn Beats on or off)
So , I give up on the latest driver and roll back it to the same version
Now if I want to listen to the music I have to plug the jack before open an iTunes
That is such annoying!
