Hi,
My laptop has randomly decided to quit playing through the speakers unless it is on the charger. I have tinkered with the problem for the past few months and have come to find that I can play sound without the charger if I click the sound icon, go to the advanced options, and change the bit and sample rate. After that I click "test" and then "apply" and restart whatever video or application I have open, it will magically play until I close the current application and try to open a new window that plays sound. It is very annoying and I have used all of my knowledge to try and fix the problem.
