Hey all!
I have an HP Envy Pc, and today, while using my headphones, the audio started coming out of my speakers only. I fought with this for some time, and noticed that if I press the f6 key (sound mute shortcut on my keyboard), it would play normally out of my headphones until recently. Now, even if, according to windows, the audio is muted, audio still plays out of my speakers. Also, when plugging in the headphones, the computer WILL recognize it, and set it as the default communications device, but NOT the default audio device. You can litterally hear the audio switch rapidly between the headphones and speakers as windows plays the little jingle for plugging in an audio device, then defaults back to speakers.
Any help?
