I have connected my laptop to my TV before using HDMI and never had an issue. Updated to Windows 7 and now there is no sound. Not sure if it is coincidence. I have researched this to death online. My HDMI is not even an option to choose. I only have my laptop speakers as an option. I know it is not the cable because it is the same one we used before without any issues. Any suggestions. I have confirmed that my drivers are up to date. I get video but no audio. Please help. Do you think it could be my sound card? I am using a G60-418ca laptop. I am not sure which video/sound card are installed in it.
