The microphone and integrated webcam on my Pavilion dv7-6c27cl do not work. When I open the CyberLink YOuCam software I get a message "No webcam detected". When I open Device Manager there is nothing shown under Imaging Devices for a web-cam (however there is CyberLink WebCam Virtual Driver listed under "Sound, video and game controllers" in device manager. When I try to use the built0in microphine, such as when using the Sound Recording accessory or when trying to use Skype it does not work at all. I don;t know if this is related al all to the "no webcam detected" error as they may be related. For whatever its worth about two weeks ago I had Microsoft Tech Support do a complete re-install of Windows 7 which is otherwise is now working fine (in case that re-install may have affected the webcam / microphone is some manner).
