My sound was working earlier today but then I clicked on the HP Support Assistance and it told me that I had an update within a processor or something (don't remember exactly what) and then I had to restart my computer for it to take effect. Anyways, so I restart my computer and some weird error message pops up that says I'm missing some extension or whatnot. I am unusre if that pertains to my sound problem.
But anyways, so my freshly restarted computer, I open up my iTunes to continue listening to music, hit play, and no sound comes out. My volume is all the way up. I've tried going into "playback devices" but that doesn't seem to help. Nothing is disabled. It's just not working.
I'm on windows 7, my product number is A1J18AV. And if anybody could please assist me, that would be amazing because I'm at a complete loss of what to do.
