From the very first day I got this laptop the sound seems to only come out of the right speaker and whenever I plug a pair of headphones into the laptop, the sound will come out of the right earbud much louder than the left (barely any sound comes from the left one). I have gone into the audio settings and fooled around with the balance to no avail. I contacted HP support and the representative proceeded to take remote control of my computer and change a few settings. After he had finished making the changes the problem remained. However, there was a new problem that caused all of my windows tiles to stop working. To fix this new problem and hopefully the original issue I restored the laptop to factory settings. When this was done, the windows tiles were fixxed but the audio problem remained. I have now run out of ideas and would really like to be able to have a working laptop. Any help would be more than appreciated.
My laptop is a HP Envy Touchsmart 15-j003cl running Windows 8.1
