I own an HP Envy 1001-tx laptop that is running Windows 7. I recently purchased a stereo system (Sony CMT-SBT100) that can connect to Bluetooth devices so that it plays the music through the stereo's speakers.
I can connect my tablets to the stereo and play the music through the stereo's speakers without any problems, however I am having trouble connecting my laptop to the stereo via BT.
My laptop detects the stereo and from what I can tell, it appears they connect via bluetooth (the speaker icon appears when I click the BT icon on Windows 7) , however when I play music on my laptop, it does not come through the stereo's speakers.
To my knowledge I have the most up-to-date drivers BT from HP installed on my laptop, and I hve been trying to connect my laptop to the stereo when all of my other BT devices are off.
Can some please help me with getting my laptop to connect to my Stereo via BT in such a way that I can play my laptop's music through my stereo's speakers?
Does this have anything to do w/ A2DP/
